A site survey identifies any design, construction, or environmental limitations at a potential construction site. It involves a comprehensive examination of the site’s topography, soil type, vegetation, climate, existing structures and utilities, and surrounding land use. ECC partners with Surveyors and Engineers who utilize cutting edge technology to provide drone work to make models for grading and site balancing, called Remote Sensing and Machine Modeling, as well as construction staking and as-builts.
To prepare for mass earth grading, the step after initial surveying in the development process is clearing. ECC and trusted subcontractors take a calculated approach to ensure the process starts and progresses swiftly while allowing our team to move quickly into the erosion control installation phases. ECC works with our clients during the pre-construction phases to identify the most cost effective and timely approach for tree and brush removal. In addition to clearing, ECC and trusted subcontractors preform demolition, including but not limited to asbestos abatement. We strive to ensure that the by products from tree clearing operation are used for lumber, paper, and even in landscaping products such as mulch. These services include:
A large fleet of state-of-the-art equipment, teamed with the latest in GPS Technology allows our team to provide high production with accurate results. From low tolerance fine grading for building pads and roadways to large scale mass earth moving. ECC has the expertise and resources to identify and execute the most efficient plan for what is often the costliest part of any development.
